Turbine Clock

Price: $450.00

The Vitra Design Museum has reintroduced a series of George Nelson clocks including the Turbine Clock, a classic example of modern design. In other words, it's not only snazzy, it's also pretty famous. Nelson (1908-86), a founder of American modernism, designed this clock in 1958 while working on introducing modern design to the home by reimagining a range of everyday items such as clocks and lamps. The clock is reproduced from original design documents from Nelson's archives and is manufactured with attention to original detail. Quartz movement with AA battery required (not included). The Wolfsonian Museum Shop also carries the Sunflower Clock, another George Nelson design.
